The Top 5 Patterns for Summer 🏖️

From sundresses, bubbles, to shorts and classic button-up shirts — we have something for everyone!

Katina is a classic sundress/jumper with straps that button onto the front yoke. The yokes are lined. Both skirts can be gathered or smocked for a breezy and easy-to-wear dress. Underarms are finished with a bias band. The pattern pieces are printed unstacked on paper and dimensions are provided for the skirts. You will love our easy-to-follow geometric smocking design and smocking guide.

Harper is a fully-lined bubble for a girl or boy and is comfortable for the playground or the beach. The timeless bubble gathers onto a bodice with a raised waist and buttons in the back with a continuous bound placket. It features elastic casings at the legs with snaps or buttons at the crotch. Customize this bubble in a variety of ways. For a girl, add a piped collar, sweet sash, and fluttery angel sleeves. For a boy, make a tailored look with a collar and belt.

Robert is a classic button-down shirt and flat front shorts or pants suitable for all his adventures. Styled with a front chest pocket and an open revere collar, the preppy shirt gives a more relaxed look while preserving a classic silhouette. The one-piece collar can be made pointed or rounded for a softer look. Choose from short sleeves or long, cuffed sleeves with a placket. The versatile, tailored shorts and pants have a flat front waistband, elastic in the back, and can be made unlined or fully lined with optional pockets.

Ginger is a timeless waistline sundress with soft details creating a delightful dress for girls of many ages. There is a ruffle down the front of the dress and a ruffle around the neck attached with a bias band. The dress buttons down the front and comes to just above the knees. VIEW A is fully lined and VIEW B has a lined bodice with a skirt facing.

Lillian is the essential sleeveless shift dress. Your girl can wear this versatile, lined dress for any dressy or casual occasion. Lillian buttons down the back. This classic silhouette suits girls at every age.

The final project from our late friend, Veronica. 💕🪽

A quilt she helped plan and create for her daughter, Ella with members of the CC community. She carefully selected Liberty fabrics and even designed a functional tic-tac-toe board on the back, creating something both beautiful and full of joy. Despite the physical toll of her illness, Veronica remained determined to complete this quilt.

She did an incredible job and will be soemthing Ella will always cherish 🤍

A little touch of Liberty floral for a classic bishop dress.🤍🪡

Your kit will be made using the Children’s Corner Bishop pattern with short sleeves, pleated or unpleated. Your dress will be pleated for the number of rows by the Bishop pattern and you will need to adjust your smocking plate for the size you are making. Simply add or remove geometric rows, happy smocking!
