Molly Peplum Top

Updated: Jun 3, 2023

Keep her girly with this peplum top made from the Children’s Corner Molly pattern. Pair this tunic top with a pair of leggings and she will be set to skip, jump and play. We made our sample using the darling Kinder fabric collection by Heather Ross.

Cutting Instructions

1. Shorten the length of the front bodice, back bodice and skirt by the following chart.

2. Do not cut linings for the skirts. Only the bodice is lined.

1. Follow the sewing instructions according to the Molly pattern. 2. The skirt will not be lined. After step 34, press the bodice lining 1/4” towards the wrong side of the bodice. Whipstitch folded bottom edge of lining to inside of top along the skirt seam line. 3. Follow step 35 to hem the peplum top. Turn under and press the bottom edge of the skirt 1/4”. Turn under again, and press a 3/4” hem. Topstitch 1/8” from top of hem, or sew a blind hem.
